Trade Management Practice Lab

A supervised room—online or in Knockholt Pound—where you manage simulated open trades under a shared risk rule. The lab exists for one reason: to rehearse exits and stand-downs before you trust them with capital.

What the lab is

Management under a clock, not a lecture

Participants arrive with a pre-lab worksheet. The coach sets the scenario: instrument style, account risk limit, and whether partial exits are allowed. Then the chart advances in rounds. You must trail, scale, or stand down when the timer ends—no endless renegotiation.

After each round the group names what changed in structure and what stayed emotional. You leave with a one-page summary of your decisions, not a list of “correct” trades.

Session flow

A typical three-hour lab

01

Rule lock

Confirm risk percentage, invalidation style, and whether runners are allowed. Size is frozen for the session.

02

Timed management rounds

Simulated positions open. You mark trailing levels and partials before the next bar sequence is revealed.

03

Group debrief

Compare choices aloud. The coach highlights where R:R was preserved and where improvisation crept in.

04

Personal action note

One habit to keep, one habit to drop before your next paper or live week. Summary emailed the same day.

Seats, fees, and preparation

Eight seats per lab. Single sessions from £95. Monthly memberships of four labs are quoted on enquiry. Complete the pre-lab worksheet after booking so the first hour is not spent catching up on definitions.
